Dryerbox Design Update

New Square Corners Make Installation Even Easier

Contractors and drywall professionals are familiar with the Dryerbox models 425 and 350; these tried-and-true classic models are favorites across the country. But now, a big design change will make installation even easier: Square edges are king, and square edges are now part of the Dryerbox models 425 and 350.

“It’s all about listening to your customers and answering their needs,” said Todd Peach, Vice President of Marketing at InOvate Dryer Products, the manufacturer of the Dryerbox and other vertical products. “Installers and contractors love their square edges, and we listened. Changing the configuration on these two models is an easy upgrade, and we’re pleased to see the reaction!”

The original rounded edges of both models were designed to simplify installation by using a zip tool to knock out the drywall for installation. After considerable research and listening to drywall professionals nationwide, it became clear that square edges were needed. Square cuts are easier, faster, and more precise; the Dryerbox goal is to make things easier for the folks that make things happen, so from now on, installers will find Dryerbox Model DB-425 and DB-350 corners to be square.

But no worries! All other specifications of the Dryerbox will remain: The flange will still protrude past the drywall to allow for a perfect caulk bead and a fine finish around the entire product. Of course, it’s still paintable, which equals customization to fit the style of any laundry room.

For builders and installers, showcasing the Dryerbox highlights a commitment to superior quality and smart solutions. Turning more prospects into homebuyers is their goal, and the Dryerbox goal is to provide the exact products needed to help make this happen.

And, yes, the Dryerbox 425 and 350 models are still built tough right here in the good old U.S.A.
